Welcome
Mamadou Koné comes from a long lineage of drummers, musicians and storytellers. His performance and teaching career spans throughout Africa, Europe, Canada and now, the United States. Besides teaching multiple group and private djembe, bala (African Balafon) and dunun classes in the San Francisco Bay Area, Mamadou also builds and repairs these African instruments.
